Hotel Mellain

Pros: Beautifully furnished hotel hall, stylish furniture, spacious with floral decoration.

Comfortable stay in a pedestrianised part of the city, plenty of bars and restaurants

Pros: Rooms were a decent size, beds and pillows very comfortable Breakfast very good Staff very helpful This appears to be an extended building which means unfortunately there are steps leading to the elevator. I don’t think anyone with mobility issues would be able to manage all the steps. The staff did carry my luggage to the room.

Great Hotel Overall, but Breakfast Service needs improvements

Pros: This is a great hotel with a beautiful interior and a big lobby that includes a nice, spacious bar. The staff were very friendly, polite, and always ready to help with tips or advice. The rooms are large, clean, and have everything you need. The bathroom was also very clean and comfortable. Big thanks to the housekeeping team—they did a great job! The price is a bit higher than some other hotels, but it’s totally worth it for the quality and service you get. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the old town, which is also the city center. The old town has a unique, historical feel of Ottoman times, with lots of small shops, tasty local restaurants, and kiosks with traditional food. There’s also a lovely park just a minute away from the center. I would definitely stay here again!

Cons: The only downside of my stay was the breakfast experience. Although there were many options, some items like hard-boiled eggs, bread, salami, and juice often ran out and were not refilled in time. The juice dispensers were regularly empty, and even after asking the staff, it took quite a while to replace things. This was frustrating, especially for guests who are in a hurry and end up eating food they didn’t really want. Some staff seemed more focused on chatting with guests than checking on the food. With a bit more attention and quicker service, the breakfast experience could be much better and match the high quality of the rest of the hotel.

Pros: It is non smoking hotel with great interior, big comfortable rooms, great spa center and gym. Hotel is placed in the city center which helps with going through the town. I love music that plays in the hotel. Music is mostly pop rock English style. Breakfast is great. There is lots of tasty food and great coffee.

Cons: Parking is in the hotel, but you have to pay it extra. I think that for hotel guests it should be for free.

Happy to stay again but hopefully the breakfast improves@

Pros: Love the location, very clean facilities. The breakfast was a disaster! Barely any food tand judging by various platters on offer the food was stale and unappetising. That was really the only let down.

It was so Special and good i like to stay there again.

Pros: It was very Special an the Room was clean and beautiful! The Pool is on the 19th Floor and the view was so special!Also the Pool. The Service was very good! And the Breakfast so delicious.

Cons: On the Spa you must pay separatly for using Sauna, 80km. Andy we pay for parking 30km per Day.

Pros: Very clean. Very luxurious with large rooms. Very nice pool on the 19th floor with a great view.

Cons: Usage of the sauna is an additional 40 EUR per hour. It is a standard sauna, nothing special.

Very happy

Pros: Repeat stay, excellent facilities and fantastic staff. Very accommodating, friendly, polite staff couldn't ask for more. Buffet breakfast was a little bit disappointing with repetitive food choices but overall very good. Happy to stay again.

Cons: Breakfast choices could have been better. Also, there was a strange smell in the bathroom.

Excellent hotel

Pros: Excellent location, the room was very well presented and very spacious. Clean and comfortable. Very polite and friendly staff happy to assist with any issues.
